Rennie Room Decorator (RRD) is a 3D room decorator game based on the V&A Oak Room exhibit. Players decorate The Oak Room according to briefs and requests from various clients.
The game focuses on creative freedom while showcasing cutting-edge works from Scottish Heritage Design.
As the UI programmer and technical designer of Team Bubsi, I bridge the gap between design and programming. My main focus is ensuring the game's consistency, maintainability, and extensibility.
My contributions included:
- Developed iPad-friendly UI with gesture support in Unity.
- Architected data structures that aligned with our objectives and enhanced workflow efficiency across the team.
- Used Cinemachine to manage cameras.
- Implemented a modular challenge system and scenario-based cinematics.
- Utilized Zenject for dependency injection and efficient reference management.
The coding structure is shown below—all blue blocks represent my work.

UI Implementation
UI Layout (UGUI)
- Ensured that all UI components spawned at the correct positions.
- Utilized layout components to dynamically adjust UI sizes across various screen resolutions.
- Animated UI elements using Unity’s animation system and DoTween.
